Exploring the outside world is a valuable learning experience. We have many field trip opportunities that tie in to our themes and learning areas and we invite all children aged two and above to participate in our school trips. Safety is the number one priority on field trips and we always have a very low adult child ratio, a nurse with our our first aid kit as well as a representative from admin who has an extensive checklist to follow from before the trip starts to after the trip returns and who counts the children at every stage of the trip to ensure all the children are accounted for. Our high visibility tabards means that Falcon children are easily recognizable during their time off premises. We do a location pre-visit and a full risk assessment of the field trip before the children go on the trip and get feedback from staff about the trip for ideas / improvements for the following year.

Permission slips and car seats are required and parent volunteers are always welcome to join us and help the children experience an enjoyable day, although they are not counted in our ratios.
